For a client in the automotive industry in Munich, we are currently looking for
The main responsibilities of the employed person include:
- Independent handling of customer complaints in collaboration with development, testing, quality, and project management departments
- Analysis of complex technical issues and coordination of corrective actions – particularly in the area of brake discs and pads, actuators, and brake control
- Moderating interdisciplinary 8D teams for structured problem-solving
- Support for serial production: technical product support and troubleshooting
- Creating documentation for the client, including 8D reports, test specifications, and detailed work instructions
- Support for serial production in plants worldwide
- Conducting expertise, technical agreements, and presenting analysis results to the client on-site
- Substantive support for the claims team in Budapest
- Close cooperation with quality and development departments in Berlin, Krakow, and Pamplona
Requirements:
- Very good knowledge of German and English (minimum negotiation level)
- Completed higher education in vehicle construction or mechanical engineering (minimum bachelor’s degree)
- Experience in the development and application of brake pads, brake discs, and actuators is welcome
- Good knowledge of CAD, FEM, and MS Office
- Very good knowledge of construction techniques, materials science, and machine element mechanics
- Familiarity with 8D quality methods, such as Ishikawa diagram (Fishbone), risk analysis, 5 Why method, Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Additional statistical qualifications (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt – welcome)
