The main tasks of the employed person include:

• Preparation of metal surfaces:
• cleaning
• grinding
• masking
•  
• Application:
• primer (undercoat)
• industrial paints
• protective coatings
• Painting using:
• spray guns
• rollers and other application systems
• Repair and correction of paint defects
• Quality control (coating thickness, uniformity, aesthetics)
• Painting large steel structures and machines
• Anti-corrosion protection (marine industry)
• Work according to technical documentation and quality standards

   

Requirements:

• Spray painting (gun)
• Preparation of surfaces for painting
• Application of protective coatings
• Knowledge of anti-corrosion systems
• Quality control of coatings
• Experience in industrial work
• Work on large steel structures
• Ability to work according to technical specifications
• Experience as a industrial painter / painter
• Ability to work based on documentation
• Experience in the heavy / shipbuilding industry is welcome
• Willingness to work shifts
• communicative / good knowledge of German (allowing for communication in the workplace)
• experience in the above-mentioned position
• category B driving license and a car
