The main tasks of the employed person include:
- Preparation of metal surfaces:
- cleaning
- grinding
- masking
- Application:
- primer (undercoat)
- industrial paints
- protective coatings
- Painting using:
- spray guns
- rollers and other application systems
- Repair and correction of paint defects
- Quality control (coating thickness, uniformity, aesthetics)
- Painting large steel structures and machines
- Anti-corrosion protection (marine industry)
- Work according to technical documentation and quality standards
Requirements:
- Spray painting (gun)
- Preparation of surfaces for painting
- Application of protective coatings
- Knowledge of anti-corrosion systems
- Quality control of coatings
- Experience in industrial work
- Work on large steel structures
- Ability to work according to technical specifications
- Experience as a industrial painter / painter
- Ability to work based on documentation
- Experience in the heavy / shipbuilding industry is welcome
- Willingness to work shifts
- communicative / good knowledge of German (allowing for communication in the workplace)
- experience in the above-mentioned position
- category B driving license and a car
