Pipefitter (m / f / nb)

The main responsibilities of the employed person include:

• installation of air conditioning units in passenger cabins
• manufacturing brackets and mounting/supporting tapes
• electric spot welding and fastening of brackets and supports
• hanging and securing air conditioners
• installation and connection of copper piping systems
• performing installation and plumbing work on passenger ships
• installation of Henco piping systems using Henco crimping tools
• installation of PVC drainage systems and gluing and mounting of HD PVC pipe systems
• connecting drainage systems and condensate removal
• installation and connection of larger devices/refrigeration units in engine rooms
• working based on technical drawings and ensuring high standards of workmanship

Requirements:

• communicative / good knowledge of German or English (allowing for communication in the workplace)
• experience in the aforementioned position
• category B driving license
• practical knowledge of copper installations, Henco piping systems (and crimping tools) and PVC / HD PVC gluing
• valid VCA certificate and Dutch BSN number (preferred)
